The C Word….

Christmas is just around the corner and you will never be allowed to forget it here at KHB……Friday 1st November 2019 (yep one day after halloween) and I walk into Ellis and Jo blasting ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ The excitement has started!!!

POP IN…..

November started and we welcomed the Poppy collection box to help raise money for Poppy Scotland, all of the poppies are handmade by disabled veterans at the Lad Haig Poppy factory in Edinburgh. Armistice Day is a day held very close to my heart so we decided to decorate the salon with Poppy vinyl and a kept a bunch of Poppies on the desk throughout November to show our respect.

KIRSTY TURNS 30…..

Kirsty turns 30……I had been looking forward to my birthday for so long and it did not disappoint, I had a lovely day relaxing at Stobo Castle with an overnight stay the day before and a family day on my actual birthday as I share the same birthday with my Dad, we enjoyed a lovely meal at the new Tattu restaurant in Edinburgh (worth a try if you have not already been, it’s delicious). I then had a party at Glencourse golf club on the Saturday evening which was so much fun, the hangover….not so much! Aidan and I then packed up and headed to the airport for our NYC trip, it was unbelievable and such a great city to visit, it was very cold and we walked more than I have probably walked this year put together but it was so worth it. I am now back, Christmas decs are up and we are so ready for the Christmas rush….bring it on!
